If people were built from parts instead of grown, the Divine Watchmaker analogy would be apt. But that is not the case. The fractal analogy is apt.

Creationism and Intelligent Design are theories of creation based on literal interpretations of scripture.

A significant portion of the internet has been dedicated to debunking these claims so they won't be rehashed here. It's pretty obvious where the metaculture belief system stands on this issue.
