Buddha wants you to break that Samsara cycle

The Karma meme exists in every culture. This can be seen in sayings like "what goes around comes around" or more biblically, "as you sow, so shall you reap".

How does the universe manifest karma and cause your actions to come back around? There are a number of ways:

  • Make someone hate you and you may find yourself the target of a vendetta, or at least petty revenge.
  • Annoy someone and they will be less likely to do you favors.
  • Do favors for someone, and they will want to do you favors in return.
  • Smile and the whole world smiles with you.

The afterlife page describes how our actions cause a "butterfly effect" that propagates our good or evil actions to the whole of humanity's collective consciousness.

This video explains karma in the context of its original religious meaning, as well as the scientific ways it manifests in reality.
